I am having a real issue with bleeding during intercourse. It initially began with just a slight amount of discoloration after intercourse and it wasn't an issue however it has now advanced to much more than just a small amount of blood.
A little on my background:
I was diagnosed with endometriosis when I was 13 years old and had a laporascapy (sp?) when I was 14. Since then I have been on at least 10-12 different birth control pills (I couldn't name them all). My initial issue with the pill was because I was still having incredibly painful periods with cramps and back aches. In the last 2 years I have had the issue of spotting between periods and the painful period issue is no longer an issue. Actually, I wouldnt call it spotting because it is constant. It is not a constant period and I do have a normal period at the end of my BC cycle, but the spotting requires me to where a thin/medium pad daily. I notice the discharge is also darker rather than being the normal red color of blood. With the hopes of eliminating the spotting I was removed from BC for 3 months because my uterus lining was incredibly thin (don't remember the measurements, but my gyno used an internal ultrasound and found out). I then reinstated the BC about 7 months ago. Still, no change, I constantly spot. I am currently on Yaz which I love because I dont have mood swings however it hasnt eliminated the spotting issue. In the past year I have been on ortho-triclene, Yazmine, and Yaz. None have made a difference in the least bit with spotting.
The bleeding during intercourse started about a year and a half ago, but this was when there was a very minimal amount of blood and really was a minor issue. I did have a new sexual partner about a year and a half ago but I don't recall if the bleeding started before or after he and I started dating. I have had 2 pap smears since he and I started dating. About a year ago I had a minor bartalin gland procedure completed (they just opened it to drain better) and since then have had noticed an increase in the amount of blood during intercourse. The bleeding continually becomes worse as the months go on.
I have mentioned the bleeding to my physican and also to my Gyno however no one seems to have an answer and quite honestly, they don't seem to take it seriously. This bleeding is a major issue to me. The bleeding during intercourse has really hindered my sex life and I don't know what else to do.
I am worried there is something that my doctors are missing. I know the bleeding isn't normal and I need an answer; I just don't know where to go or what else to do.
I have one possibility as to the issue with this but would like some professional insight. My boyfriend's penis is slightly curved. Could this be a cause of the bleeding or at least aggrivating it?
HELP!

This is also happening to my daughter although she does not have edimetroitis (spelling?). Her gyno thouhgt she might have but after laproscopy found she had very little. The gyno told her it is because she has such a thin uterine lining. Even touching her with a swab on a test in the doctors office, the screen showed it made her bleed.
The gyno did report to her that this is common and once you give birth the uterine lining usually thickens. He did not offer any other solutions.
Hope this helps.
