13 years old & yeast infection?

Hi I'm having problems with my "area". I need help. I'm 13 and a virgin. I had my first period about 2 months ago and I'm still not sure if it really was my period. Ok we're about to get really personal but I can't explain it otherwise. I started dec. the first and I know you get it once a month and its feb the third today. I started getting some cramps at school but they went away. So yesterday I was at my friends house we were getting ready for a school dance and I went to check my pad and its been itching and kinda burning. But when I go to pee it burns. I've had a bladder infection before and it's similar to it but it itches sometimes. So I'm really confused. And this is really personal but I went into my bathroom and I went to go pee and I looked down and it was....some red stuff like..kinda hanging there. I do thin I'm on my period but it doesn't hurt like my friends hurt when their on theirs. But I don't know what to do!!! Please hepl me!!

me too! My mom already knows i have one but im scared to bring it back up to her... im afraid to tell her that i want to get some of the monistat cream , how am i susposted too tell her ?! HELP!

ive been having this problem as well. i havent talked to my mom either. im going to tho. it itches and burns sometimes and its sorta yellow and  gooey. i dont like it at all. im also 13 im gonna talk to my mom and ask for help! thanks! i thought i was the only one...

I can't tell if i have some sort of problem.. it itches but thats not new, I feel like i go through periods where it's really itchy down there, and i may have very very littler amount of discharge, like a tiny bit... It doesn't really burn when i go to the bathroom... I feel like it's not fine though, there might be something wrong. I'm thirteen and I haven't gotten my period. How severe are your symptoms? Should i be worried?

It's okay hun:) just say exactly this to your mom: hey mom, whenever i pee, it stings really bad wear my stuff is, not my pee hole though.
I said this to my mom and she gave me this helpful cream and mine was gone in a few days!! Dont be nervous, also, ask her i keep it between you and her:) it's okay

I wanted to respond to your post because my heart goes out to you. My daughter went through the same thing, yeast infections at an early age. I have been going through the same thing it all started two days ago and it hurts sooooooo much. last month my period started when was 12, am now 13 got my next period on my 13 B-day which made me feel soo uncomfortable, I haven't told my mum about this cause I'm to scared. Rite sooo I'm not sure if it is a yeast infection but I think it is as it is red and it is itchy and it burns so much and I have noticed tht there is now white stuff down there now. It is soo hard to get to sleep now cause I'm so uncomfortable. And I no I should tell my mum but I just cant

So I'm 13 and I just found out that I have a yeast infection too! And I studied a little bit and then I tryed vanilla extract. Put it on a Q tip and put it were it itches and around it it stopped the itch instantly. Do not wear tight jeans! and always have clean panties! Try to always keep dry there too. Sleep 'commando' with a fan 'down there' works perfectly

Omg I told my mom that I'm really irritated "down there" and guess what she said?! Ok . I'm like wow thx for the help I've had this irritation for 4 days. Will anything bad happen?

Hi guest, you don't have to be scared to talk to your mum about it as nearly all woman will get a yeast infection at least once in there life, it has nothing to do with masturbation or anything like that. If you can talk to her about it she will be able to get you something to use to get rid of it :-)
