can a 13yr old get a yeast infection?
i was just wondering if I could because I have been having some itchyness and just thicker 'discharge'. I have seen a picture of a yeast infection in health class and the things look like what i have.
and my mom has a 'yeast infection syndrome' i think.

Yes, 13 year olds can get yeast infections. It can be caused by heaps of things. If your mum is more prone to it then maybe you are too. I would talk to your mum about it

Yes you can get a yeast infection. Some common ways to get one is certian foods you eat and/or not keeping clean enough down there. I think eating yogurt may help or wheat germ but I cant be 100% sure. Talk to your mom about it since she has had this issue before.
It is easily treated if you do something about it fast. Never let anything go to long espeacialy when it come to your sexual body parts. Never be embarassed to talk to someone about it and if you cant talk to your mom maybe there is a school nurse that can help or a friends mom.

yes u can If ur mom or someone has Yeast Infections you should not be scared to talk to your mom but if you are try talking to somome dont let it get out of hand :)
