I had two screws and a plate on my second metatarsal in Sept 2011. The pain gets worse and worse along with the swelling and sometimes bruising.

 I went to the ER at the clinic where my surgeon is based and he told me today my fusion never took AND one of my screws is broken and loose.

What do I do?

Return to the surgeon that not only didnt do my surgery right but also missed that it FAILED!!

How did he miss that in all my follow up appointments and xrays???

He is a highly rated surgeon!!!!
