I'm a 13 years old, 5'4, 104 lb, athletic, virgin (obviously). I haven't gotten my period for 8-9 months. I'm really worried, I'm afraid that when it's time to have a baby... I can't... Or I'll have a miscarriage. I told my mother about 3-4 months ago and she said it was because I was I'm my "early-stage" of my period. I started when I was 10 or 11 in 5th grade. Help. I don't want to tell my mother again because I'm scared.

I had the same problem as you. I haven't had my period in over 8 months, as I am usually regular. This scared me so bad I knew I had to figure out what was wrong. I went to 3 doctors & they all diagnosed me with PCOS. That's why I haven't had my period in forever, and have gained over 40 pounds for no reason. It's hard losing weight with this, and it's very heartbreaking / painful to have this. I was diagnosed acouple days ago, and make sure you go to the doctor because you need it to be treated. If you wait to long, it will cause even more infertility problems. Best of luck.

I'm 21 sexually active, about two months ago I got a pregnancy test done,I want pregnant, but now I'm hitting7 months with no periods, I find I'm gaining weight pretty rapidly, I'm tired a lot but I do work 2 jobs but not overly stressful.my breast are just starting to feel tender. i suggest seeing a doctor. its nothing to worry about it may just be that your having bad luck with finding a working pregnancy test. if your doctor says your not pregnant you may have other problems.. hope i helped

I 17 i had a baby on January 16, 2014. I was on birth control but then i stopped taking it on October. Since i stop having relationships. But i haven gotten my period for 6 months now i have gone to a clinic endded up negative for the pregnancy test. The doctor told me not to worry it come soon. So Im going to a different doctor to see if its a hormonal problom.

I go with out my period 7 to 9 months and then when I do get my period its very painful and I have gone 10 months is the longest I have gone with out it I never get it every month I just finally got it Friday after 6 months and I'm in so much pain idk what's wrong or what to do .

Hello, I am 16 & I haven't gotten my period for 7 months I was on birth control because I had issues with my period & I got off because of the side effects of the birth control. I got off October 18, 2015 & still have gotten no period at all no spotting or anything. I have no idea what's going on & I always have horrible cramps & feel as if I'm going to have my period but nothing ever happens. Any ideas what's going on? Thank you.

Hey ,I'm almost 13 years old and really worried , I got my period when I was 11 everything was fine ( a little irregular) but normal...my last period was in September when I noticed 2 months later that I missed two months...surprisingly I was happy because I hated having my period...this pattern continued and now here I am in April...7-8 months overdue ...I'm freaking out badly....what shall I do....thank you for even reading this ❤ hope you can take the tine to reply xx hugs and kisses

I am 24 years old. My last period was 11/14. I was trying to conceive but couldn't cause obviously I hadn't had my period. I went to a obgyn and did multiple test amd blood work and it was found that I had multiple cysts on my ovaries. My doc prescribed me birth control to try and rid all the cysts and she said if it doesn't help then she will test me for polycystic ovarian syndrome. I've been on the birth control for a month now (06/15) and I recently got my period. I am happy cause that means the birth control is helping bUT now I am getting unbearable cramps which I can assume means that the cysts ate going away I hope so... for all you woman I suggest going to an Obgyn sooner rather than later. Especially if you want kids in your future.
