I'm 14 and have had my period since I was 12. It was really regular until about 7 months ago when it was really bad (worse than ever) and it hasn't come back since then. I'm worried. My mom doesn't know yet and I don't know what to do. I'm obviously still a virgin, so what should I do?

Honestly I feel the same way. But I am not a virgin, and I haven't had my period since February and I have had my period for about 2 years and I don't want to tell my grandma cause she will be disappointed and I don't want to tell my mom. And I can't go to the doctor without a way and I am not telling my grandma.

I'm 14 years old and I got my period when I was 12. I use to get my period monthly but it just disappeared. I noticed that I wasn't having my period monthly and that when I did have my period it was very light. I haven't gotten my period in about 4-5 month. Why is this happening? Am I going to get my period again? Should I be concerned?

Hi, don't worry. I had a long skip of 9 months of no perios when I was 17. After that, I started I get them more regularly. This is very common in a lot of girls, especialy if you have just started to go to the gym or have recently been losing lots of weight. If this continues for more than a year though, you may need to go to a doctor. It may just be nothing though. Remember, just stay calm. Most of the time, skipped periods are caused by stress, weight loss, or a low blood sugar. This phase will pass with time.
