I have been on the pill for about a year now. Just recently, I have experienced breakthrough bleeding. Not to get too descriptive, it is the pre-period (brown) and I still have 3 pills left. I checked with my doctor and she said to continue taking the pills and just monitor, but it worries me. I have had a very small amount of breakthrough bleeding in the past, but never 4 pills before I finish the pack. It hasn't stopped. I am worried because I read too much and I know that this problem could be associated with a lot of things. I am pretty sure that I am perfectly healthy....is there any explanation to this? Can the pill cause spontaneous breakthrough bleedings at times? I just find it weird and it worries me...
