Breakthrough bleeding + Hydroxycut

I am having the same problem as well. Was obviously concerned and thought maybe I am having some female issues. I've been taking Hydroxycut for about a month and a half, but only two a day, once a day. I just need the boost in the afternoon to get through so that I have energy to get to class after work. I get up in the morning about 5 to get to the gym. What a mess! I guess I'm stopping. What else can I do?

Thank goodness for your posts! i have been a devoted BC pill user for over 12 years now and NEVER have had break through bleeding..until last month, I started one week before I should have and it lasted all 14 days! Then this month I started 13 days sooner and still haven't let up..only thing in common is my use of Hydroxycut I started using it about 2 1/2 months ago.. I was freaking out, but now this makes total sense. Thanks for sharing, I too was afraid something was seriously wrong with me. guess it's back to regular good diet and exercise..bleeding for 14 plus days is not worth it to me!! :-D

I have always had a period start the same time every month. I do not take birth control. I started hydroxycut max two weeks before my period was supposed to start and then I missed my period for this month. I am 9 days late. I took two pregnancy tests and both are negative. Does anyone have any idea what going on? I stopped taking the hydroxy cut for like 3-4 days and my period still hasn't started.

Diet pills can reverse the effects of your birth control. That's why you bleed.

wow! thank god i found this! I've been on birth control for almost a year & have been fine. I've had occasional breakthrough bleeding, but usually because of missing a pill. & this time its been horrible! soooo much bleeding! I guess im gonna have to stop taking the hydroxycut even though i really dont want to!

I am really glad I came across this! I have been just barely spotting for the last 3 days or so, I thought I had stopped yesterday but today started taking diet pills again. I wonder if thats why I thought I had stopped and still spotting? I have been on the shot since August of last year and have not had any spotting or anything until here recently. when I started I just thought because I had sex a few days before and it had been a while since I had and just thought that was it. It is about that time of the month when I used have a period. I have been getting a little concerned and wanted to look it up before I called the dr. I am going to stop the diet pills and hopefully will stop again. Thanks!

I know this is a old post but I had to put something here. The main ingredient in hydroxycut is lady's mantle, which is been long used to treat menstrual problems. That is probably why it interferes with birth control.

OMG, I'm really scared. I just started Hydroxycut yesterday. I took one pill 30 min before my 3 meals yesterday and today and now I have anal bleeding. Do you think this is a serious problem after only six pills in two days.

Lashone,I have had the same exact problem, when I started Hydroxycut at 1 pill a day, I saw blood on my toilet paper after I would use the bathroom. I stopped and it went away. When I started again, to test if it was the Hydroxycut, it came back. This time however, it has been more serious and I have got bleeding into my skin (small bruises on my thigh), and bleeding in my ear (I saw it on my Q-tip this morning). I am stopping this product immediately and going to get a refund. I'm also going to speak to a lawyer about this being that so many people are having a similar problem. I've never had any bleeding problems before and as a medical student, can rule out almost any other cause. I'm in fairly good health (eat right, make sure to sleep ~7 hours, etc.) and this is very concerning to me.

I have been using Hydroxycut Gummies for 2 weeks (this is week 3) and I noticed the light bleeding or spotting a couple days ago.  It is the only thing new I have added to a new workout, diet and wellness program.  I stopped taking the Diet Pill 2 days ago and the bleeding has stopped.  I was so serious I thought something major was wrong healthwise (who knows what is going on the inside now).  I will contact Hydroxycut for a refund immediately and not take the Diet gummies again.  However, the Hydroxycut gummies were EXCELLENT with controlling my appetite and I did lose 2-3 pounds a week with the supplement.  Does ANYONE know of any other comparable, effective and Safe diet supplements?
