I just recently started the depo shot and its been almost 2 weeks and I didnt bleed or spot at all maybe a little bit of clear kinda yellowish discharge but thats it me and my boyfriend had sex over the weekend unprotected and I started bleeding during (really embarrassing!) But then it stoped and now its monday about to be tuesday and im bleeding pretty bad like not pink spotting its bright red blood. Yes it was rough sex and it hurt a little that was the first time I have had sex without using condoms we done it 5 times in two days could it be just the sex was to much for me or what would cause this bright blood? Im kinda worried. (And yes he pulled out every time) can anyone help me understand what is causing this?!

I get the same thing. I have been on shot for years and never any complications. But recently and only after sex within few hours I start cramping real bad, especially my hips and I get a darker discharge. It last for few hours then fine for a while. I've had been to Dr and they can't figure out why...discouraged for sure

I have been on depo for a while the first time I was on it for 5 yrs missed a shot and got pregnant. I had my daughter and got back on depo. I have now been on depo for 2 yrs and I recently started seeing blood after I have sex what is the issue with that. I just recently started this.

Hi, I am doing this for my wife. She has been on the shot for a bout month now. When she got.the shot she was fine. But at the beginning of her second month she has been bleeding light to heavy for about four days now. Sex has been null and she revolts the idea of having it. We have had sex once since she has been on it. she had bleeding after we had it. I am beyond stressed as well she is also experiencing Very painful cramps. Which is causing her not to sleep well. Is there anyone else experiencing this? Tips, ideas are highly appreciated

Ive been getting depo for 2 years, i stopped for a year and recently started again. I'm 2 shots in coming up on my 3rd and the last two times I've had sex with my husband (he's in the army so we don't get to often ) i ended up bleeding for about 2 weeks.
