I have been taking Adderall 30 mg for at least 8 years now. I have found that around pms time it honestly does not work for me. However, other than that I find that without it I can not get anything completed and my desire to do so just isn't there. It has changed my life for the positve. However, I am suffering from adult acne at age 35. I am concerned that Adderall may have something to do with that but I am not sure. I find when I am taking Adderall I can deal with the world vs. wanting to hide in the house. I call it my give a c**p pill. I don't usually take it on weekends just when I am at work. Yes, I think this drug can be misused. But under the care of a physician and if you use it accordingly you may also may have good results. I wanted to stop taking it bcause someone told me it was a legal form of meth and that concerned me. My dr. assured me otherwise. The side effects I have expierenced is dry mouth, dry skin, acne. In the beginning I had some slight weight loss but I have been able to maintain my weight for a while. Although this drug may not be for many it has helped me alot!

See a dermatologist who will give you the oral drug 'accutane' they only have the generic version of it now, but it makes it cheaper so it's good. Don't be scared or afraid, my sister was 46 and she took the drug for 6 months straight. She was scared because of all the 'hype' surrounding it, but all it did was give her dry lips and forearms and I mean really dry lips, but she was so happy for the six months she was on it, and now the two following years she never has any pimples that 'hurt' her any more, or many pimples at all. Since you are 35 you have probably had acne for a while now, and Dermatologists now prescribe 'Accutane' (and the generics) for mild persistant or moderate persistant acne. It is absolutely the best thing. I am going to get on it now too. Good luck, it will change your life! :)
