It's me, 'Sabrina' again, lol.
I took a pregnancy test yesterday night and another one this morning, both came out negative.
Still no sign of my period yet, though. =\
And I'm still having odd abdominal sensations.
The two negative pregnancy tests have calmed me down, but I'm still nervous about my period not showing itself.
I'll wait it out a few more days and if it still isn't here I'll go take another test. o-o

Hi Chirssy! You have to remember that when there are "Symptoms" you don't have to have them all! And that is BS about most common in overweight women - granted that is one of the factors, but it can happen with ANY shape, size, age, etc. IF you have diabetes that can be another problem! BUT I am still leaning towards a Cystic ovary - it doesn't have to be many it could jus tbe 1 that is causing you to be wonky! Glad to hear about your hair and no pain, I was looking for Thyroid and Endometriosis!

Hi, my name is Kim and I am 20, almost 21 years old in Sept. I went off the pill a few months ago. My boyfriend and I use condoms but sometimes we use the pull out method instead. I am late on my period(I forgot to track my last one, so I don't know the exact date, I know it has been over a month), and I feel bloated like I am going to get my period but I don't. I have a really strong appetite, my family and boyfriend have noticed and commented on it. I urinate more often than normal. I also have gotten hot flashes at night which I never get really. I have had alot of white creamy discharge today and yesterday. Certain sounds have annoyed me. Other than those things though I don't have any other pregnancy symptoms. I don't feel pregnant, but I also don't really feel like I am getting my period. I am thinking maybe coming off birth control a few months ago is still messing with my system, but I feel like overall I have felt normal this past month. Any advice? Should I just take a test to ease my mind or wait it out and see if I get my period, since it could all be from coming off birth control? Thanks :-)

Anytime you have unprotected sex you can and eventualy will get pregnant! So I think you should take a test - in the morning with your first urine! And lets see what that says first OK? So please let me know how you make out OK? good luck and health!

Hello Bambi,
Thanks for the response. Well funny thing was I got my period this morning! Was not expecting that, haha. Thanks for the advice and I am going to start tracking my cycles a bit better now so I know when I am actually late.

I am hoping that Bambi27 might be able to help me figure out what's going on with my body..
I ended my last period on April 29th. Had unprotected sex on that same day. I am not on any form of BC and he came inside of me. On April 30th I took Next Choice (EC), both pills within the right time. On May 3rd I had unprotected sex, again... I didn't take any EC this time. May 4th and 5th I had some pretty light bleeding which I am assuming is from taking EC. Around April 27th I had light brown spotting that was only present when I wiped; this was about the time I was expecting my period, but it stopped after 2 days. I am now about 14 days late for my period and I really don't feel like I will be expecting it anytime soon.. Forgot to mention that I have been having some white-almost clear discharge since the 20th. I've been having really weird cramps that are much lower then usual and only on the left side. Been really tired and I seem to pee more.. also I think it's weird but I've lost my appetite for the most part, although at times I find my self starving. Had a couple weeks of constipation followed by random diarrhea... Like a rollar coaster.. I am so confused. I've taken 3 HPT's all negative and all different brands. I think it might be from the EC but I just need some reassurance. Thanks!

Hi honey! OK! I will assume that your period probably started on the 22nd of April so this would make you more fertile - from ovulation - from about May 6th - give or take the days of your cycle (I'm taking this on a 28 day cycle) - So the Plan B pill was probably useless for the 29th, so when you had sex again on May 3rd then 1 - 2 days later had spotting - this COULD be implantation bleeding!

Is the 3rd the only time you had unprotected sex in the month of MAY?

Also you can NOT take the morning after pll for birth control! It is FILLED with hormones, and if you were to do this on a regular basis it could have dire consequences! The morning after pill is ONLY for "oops's" Can I ask why you would keep on having unprotected sex, when you have already taken the morning after pill? Also have you or your partner been tested for STI's = these can sometimes stop periods?

Hey everyone! I've read through (most of) this thread, and thought I'd post and see if you guys (girls!) could give me some advice as well. This will be a little long and maybe some TMI, so I apologize in advance!

About 1 1/2 years ago my husband and I started TTC. After about a year with nothing, I went to the gyno and got checked out. He tested me for Endometriosis and everything, and said that I looked completely fine and dandy down there. The only thing is my periods have been out of whack since about the time we started trying. I was always VERY regular (even off the pill), so this confused me. Really all my symptoms pointed to endometriosis...but the test was negative. (I've also found out since then both my aunt and my mom have it!). I've been off the pill for almost 2 years now. I already have a 3 1/2 year old from a previous marriage, so I know I'm not the wild card, my husband is.

I went all of July with no period. I usually keep track of when my period's due just so I can know exactly what I'm looking at, but forgot to the past two months since we had vacation and such. So I'm not entirely sure when I'm due! I just know that it should be within the past week.

I first started noticing a couple weeks ago that my breasts (mostly my nipples) were getting VERY tender! More so than I've ever noticed before. Then about two weeks ago I started getting sick. Usually the mornings or afternoons, never all day. I haven't vomited yet, just sick to my stomach. My veins have started showing up more, my arms look like river road maps! I'm SERIOUSLY constipated, and just have a general 'feeling' of pregnancy. A few days ago I started getting mild cramps, but nothing very hard. And they weren't the kind of....liquid pulling cramps you get during a period. (That's the best way I can describe them! I'm sure you know what I mean.) Just kind of...pressure like. Today I was so sick during church...it was the worst feeling of sickness to date with this. Then after lunch (really just like 10 minutes ago) I went to the restroom and I was spotting a kind of bright pink. It hasn't been long enough for me to tell you if it was more than just a spot or two, but I can definitely post again when I know. Again, I still have zero period like cramps, and not a single feeling of being on my period.

We've been trying for so long I don't want to get my hopes up, but it's so hard! I took a test yesterday, and it was negative. But we thought maybe I had tested too soon since we weren't quite sure when my last period was. I'm hoping it was just a little implantation bleeding...but again, I don't want to think that then be disappointed again when it wasn't.

So help! What do you girls think!?

Hi honey! It's not about when your period is, it is more about when you conceived! I usually tell women to wait about a good 21 days after possible conception and this will be a perfect level of HCG IF you are indeed pregnant! SO if your periods are wonky this means your ovulation will be wonky too - thus conception and so on! So let's wait another week - I know that's like forever! In the mean time start taking PreNatal Vitamins - the entire Vitamin, not just Folic Acid and Biotin - as these have been shown not only to help the baby but also DRAMATICALLY increase YOUR fertility!

On the wonky period part, did they do a Transvaginal ultrasoun - to determine if you have Ovarian Cysts? Ovarian cysts have virtuallyt he exact same symptoms as pregnancy! I also tell ALL women that when you are trying to conceive have sex as much as possible, and listen to your body! Most women - can't really tell when they are physically ovulating - BUT nature helps us out with giving us an extra shot of sex hormones - this is when we are more likely to WANT sex ! So try not to waste any opportunity! And I will keep my fingers crossed for you that you get some good news within the next week! Please keep me updated!

Thanks! Hubby and I definitely try to have sex as much as possible, but it's pretty hard because he's an apprentice lineman (fixing powerlines). As an apprentice he doesn't have ANY say in what jobs he gets put on, so he could be working in town or a couple states away. Right now he's only 3 hours away, but because of the drive he's only home on weekends. So that puts a pretty big limit on how often we can 'try'.

When I went to my OBGYN they did EVERY test they could think of. He looked up there, did a sonogram, and a transvaginal ultrasound. I felt so used by the time I left! haha. It was just depressing when everything came back normal! He wants my husband to get a fertility test (are they called that for men? I think so! haha),

So far I only had that one spot of blood after lunch, I checked again later and nothing. So I have my fingers crossed!!

I forgot to put earlier, that I just feel HOT sitting around. I can tell my body temp is up! I've always been cold, but lately I've been sweating no matter what I do. I've also been a tad bitchy, but that could be anything. XD

well me and my bf had sex for the first time last month. not only did we do it once but, we did it every night following for 6 nights. we used protection (no birth control though) everytime and he never lost it in me. anyways, now i have not had my period for this month and im afraid im not gonna have it cause i usually start feeling like a week before my period actually happens. also, i have been having headaches (headaches are normal for me, but they have been getting them more often), heartburn (again heartburn is normal for me, but its been more often), pain in my sides and up under my left rib, upset stomach, strange feelings in my upper and lower stomach, my breast and nipples are tender, heavy discharge with odor, im more sleepy, tired, and stressed aswell. i do plan to take a test if i don't start within 4 or 5 days. im only 17, and so worryed...

Just losing your virginity can make your period late. Anytime you go without sex for long periods of time then have it there's a pretty good chance you'll be late.

Plus if he wore a condom and never came inside you, the chances of you being pregnant are pretty slim to none! Sounds like you're just pretty stressed about the chance. Stress will also make you late, which I'm sure you know. :-) Just try to relax, stay calm, and stay hydrated! I'd wait on the test (they're pretty expensive!) until you haven't seen your period for two more weeks. It's hell to wait, but I bet aunt flo will be here before you know it. :-)

Well, much to my dismay this morning I woke up and had started bleeding. It's so hard when you start to hope... after a year and a half I'm wondering what could be going wrong? Surely getting pregnant isn't that hard!
