My husband suffers chronic bronchitis and last week his condition got worse. He was diagnosed acute bacterial exacerbation of CB. Doctor prescribed him Avelox, which he takes, but it causes headache and diarrhea to him. What are the most common side effects of avelox? Avelox is an antibiotic, moxifloxacine hydrochloride. It has been approved in effective and safe treatment of respiratory diseases. Side effects that occur are typical for all antibacterial drugs. It just has to be used as doctor prescribed, to avoid bacterial resistance. He should rest a lot and should not drive because avelox may cause dizziness.
