Hi. I've been on Yaz now for about 5 months now; I love it. I have polycystic ovarian syndrome which basically makes me not have a period unless I'm taking birth control.
I'm just a little worried. I'm sexually active with my boyfriend; sometimes we use condoms, sometimes we don't. But he never cums inside of me, he always pulls out before that point. But I've been on the pill consistently.
The problem is that I kind of started my period the other day. By "kind of" I mean that it wasn't really there. I had discharge but it was less than what you'd consider lite. At first it was a brownish color, then it wasn't there the next day, and then it came back the third day as the light redish discharge. But I barely had anything. I don't know whether to go get a pregnancy test because I haven't been sick in the mornings or any of the classic signs of being pregnant. I'm not sure if I should be worried about this or not.
Can anyone offer up advice?

I'm having the ame problem!! I'm on nuvaring and am literally having the exact same brown "almost period" issue!! I took a test today but was negative. Plan to take another tomorrow, i suggest just take Inc one
