Postmenopausal bleeding is quite unusual and usually it indicates that something may be wrong. I know this because my aunt had a hysterectomy performed and entered menopause at the age of 42.
Three years later, she experienced excessive bleeding. She was also very surprised to see this. She made an appointment with a gynecologist and she was found a cervical polyp.
Do you still perform gynecological tests? I read that a woman should have regular pap smears until she’s 64, and even 70.
She had all sorts of tests because they suspected a whole bunch of stuff.
I reckon you should make an immediate appointment because you could have developed fibroids, or a tumor but it could be harmless as well. However, I think you should have yourself checked.
