i have never had my first period but have had white discharge.then a few months ago i started gatting brown discherge that showed up as a red color on toilet paper.could this be a sign that im about to or already have started my period?

My friend had a similar problem a few year ago before she started her period, she would get that then it would stop for ages then start again - I'm no doctor, but i would say you have a very irregular period, maybe because your body isn't ready yet? (: i would wear a small pad when you think you might 'spot' just to keep from staining underwear, and see a doctor, just in case (:

yeah more or less you have started your period, but not properly, so you can't exactly count the days until your next period, as you may have noticed it's far too unregular (: are you a young teenager? around the ages of 13, 14 or 15? I don't think it matters, I'm just a little curious, because my friend was 13 when she first started 'spotting' and her actual period came when she was 14. So if you are, it could be that your body isn't used to the amount of oestrogen (and hormones and stuff) in your body yet ... maybe ?? (:

it will start again but i doubt in the same day, unless you have noticed you get more than one spotting a day? but it should be one every other day.

by the way, when a woman ends her period, it's normally extreamly brownish and ewwh :/ so just in case you thought bad, don't worry, it's normal to be that colour (:
