Brown discharge with clumps, almost black streaks on panties

I also have been experiencing this for 2 months now. So scared literally. I'm almost 40 and have never had this problem. I'm def not pregnant because I can't have any children . I'm happily married for 9 yrs so no std. Its came and went but this last month it's been constant. I've started my period (I think) early but it's got lots of clots also I feel like I've been leaking a clear is fluid as well cause my pad will feel wet but won't be that bloody? Plz Help! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

hi i have experienced this problem sincr i went on birth control over 10 years ago. i went to the doctors to find out what was wrong and they told me due to being on birth control my periods will be iregular the first couple of months and the brown/black discharge is due to the eggs detaching and getting stuck.. bare in mind its not all of them..this is where the discharge comes from it normally happens from the period before and can happen each time you have a period especially if you are on birth control if not then it can happen every now and again for the same reasons especiallly if your hormones are out of ballance.

Same here, I have not had sex ever and I have just had my first period last month. I haven't got one this month yet and I have a browny solivery/poo like substances. I have only found it once today and I don't know what is but I would appreciate it if someone could tell me what it is. I have also had terrible tummy aches and headaches but I am about seed please reply if u know what it is thank you

It could be because of stress. Stress makes your uterine wall thinner and could cause this. Also, taking birth control can be a cause of this. when you have the brownish discharge it could mean that the blood has been oxidized which changes the color from red to a brownish color. You shouldn't be alarmed.

I'm not pregnant or have STD's I'm 13 and just started having this today, I'm on my third pair of underwear! I have had a stomach ache all day does that mean I'm gonna have my period soon?!

I've been on birth control for 2 and a half years now and am experiencing a lot of the symptoms you guys are. My spotting is clump-like and started exactly a week ago (one week after my last period ended) and that day I went to my doctor. She told me if it wasn't ALOT of brown (like having to wear a pad and change it often) and I didn't have a lot of pain, it was probably nothing to worry about. I am on a very low dosage pill and even taking my pill three hours late can cause this spotting due to a hormonal imbalance. She also said it can be caused due to stress (which I have been lately). Initially, the spotting was not accompanied with cramps but lately I have been getting cramps as well. Not horrible cramps. Maybe a little less pain than I would have with my regular period. A couple days ago I also had something that looked like a clot but could have been part of my uterine lining as well? (Sorry tmi). So it is probably just my body TRYING to start my period because I've been lazy lately with taking my pill at the right times. My Dr said the spotting can last up to a week or until my next period.

This is happening to me as well, I don't really know what to do, I have the stringy brown discharge for like 2 months, along with the crippling abdominal pains . I'm only 14, and have been on birth control for over a year now. I'm not sexually active. can someone help??
