I am not very religious about taking my birth control. I took my last active pill 14 days ago. Before that, I forgot to pick up my medicine from the pharmacy after my period so I was a week late taking my pills. To make an attempt at catching up, I took 5 BC pills at one time and two a day after that. I had unprotected sex during the week that I wasn't taking my birth control. I decided to just stop taking BC all together because it was making me nauseous. My period is two weeks late, and today I was wiping down there and a large glob of brown thick liquid was on the tissue. I have taken two pregnancy tests, and they both came out negative. I don't know what it could be...any help is appreciated.

Messing up the balance of hormones by taking 5 at once may have caused your body to have an unusual reaction. I was on mycrogynon and i missed a few of mine and messed up my cycle and i have brown discharge for about 3 weeks i was advised to not take the pill for one whole months and then start it again, but you mustn't have unprotected sex in this time! make sure you use condoms or resist! Also i would suggest about 2 wks into this take a pregnancy test to be on the safe side :-D
