It's a tough question to answer Huffy.

Not everyone always "catches" something even after being exposed.  Even with something as scary as HIV, you don't always contract it by having sex with an infected person.

It seems unlikely that you wouldn't contract Chlamydia, but I can't say for certain.

I'm not an infectious disease specialist.

Hope it helps.

thanks for taking the time out to reply

i kno wits not easy to answer, as net is full of conflicting info, but to me the chances of exposure of 5 months and not contracting it are slim to none? if it is possible thats fine if its not thats fine as i just want to know either way, would you happen to know anywhere i might be able to find out?

I'd probably start with your doctor, the one that tested you, and explain your question.  If that doesn't work then maybe contact a teaching hospital or a university with a medical research department.

Good luck and let us know if you do find out.
