a family member was smoking meth for over a year, says they have stopped I am not so sure, they can not go for very long with out falling asleep, has recently lost a job due to falling asleep, complains of pain all over body and over all isn't happy, is this withdrawls? Can this go on for months?

Withdraws from any drug is always bad. Some can last as long as 6 months. Keep eye on the person. If u suspect something ask don't care if it causes a fight u have a right to kn. sorry couldn't help to much.
