I've been on different varieties of the pill since i was 14 because i bled for months at a time and had excruciating cramps. I've had to change the pill 3 times since there because after a few years the amount of hormone seems not to be enough and i start bleeding again despite being on the pill. My partners and I are thinking of trying for a baby, but I'm worried about coming off the pill and dealing with the continual bleeding, mood swings and PMS. What's wrong with me, and will I still be ok to get pregnant?

The great news is thst as long as you have a uterus and ovaries you can become pregnant! BUT you may have a more difficult time with bleeding problems, or irregular cycles.

Perhaps you may not have any bleeding problems, and you will concieve easily =) The only way to know is to stop the pill, but it is best to stop the pill at the end of the pack and not in the middle. Stopping in the middle can also cause bleeding problems.

A good thing to also consider is an Ovulation detection kit/monitor, it will help you concieve by showing when you ovulate!
