irregular period after coming off the pill 2 months ago

I recently come of microgynon contraception pill due to withdrawal bleeding halfway through so my doctor put me on yasmin. However since i have been to the doctors the bleeding hasnt stopped it slowed down and then went heavy again for another 8 days. It has been spotting lately (past few days) and i stopped for 1 day, now it seems like i'm having another period coming. Me and my partner have decided to try for another baby but there has been no luck. Went to the doctors again and got cykloprofen (sorry spelling mistake) and those did not work for the first time. Its beginning to worry us both. Is this just because the pill is coming out of my system, or i had to stop halfway through my packet? How long will this go on for? Thanks
