Ive been on the pill for the last 4-5 years. Im on loestrin 1/20 now, generic, and was wondering what are some side effects of stopping the pill? I have noticed that my hair has been thinning since i switched over to this pill.

For me the side effects were, greasy hair which passed within a couple of weeks. I just washed it everyday. My skin broke out, got lots of little bumps on it. This went away after a couple of weeks. I also experienced nausea, it was quite prevalent in the first month after stopping, but got better every month. After about three months it had completely subsided. I was on the pill for 4 years. Apparently the longer you take medicines the longer it takes to recover from the side effects. But i'm all good now.
