Yeah but not likely. I wouldn't worry about it but if you are still unsure you can suggest Emergency Contraceptive to her which is available at most drugstores. It can be taken up to 5 days after unprotected sex.

I agree that it's doubtful if she's pregnant from this encounter with you, as you describe it.
You could try an EPT test, but I think you must be beyond that 5 day window to get effective results.
If you are saying that her period began just the day after your intercourse, I don't think there's any likelihood that she's pregnant.
I'm more interested in why the condom broke.
Did you use lubricant? Was it petroleum based, or oil-based, like vasolene petroleum jelly? Or was it waterbased?
How old was the condom?
Why do you think it failed?

A sandwich baggie, eh?
Well, they always say that "Necessity was the invention of the first mother..." or something like that! XD
Actually, your experiment reminds me of something that was written up in the classic book "Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex (*but were too afraid to ask)" by Dr. Rubin.
He describes a case where a couple tried to experiment when they discovered their supply of condoms had run out. The book quotes a woman who was pissed that her husband was going to let her down due to not having on condom on hand... so she walked around the house looking for a substitute, and settled upon Saran Wrap! She said "Well, it's supposed to keep things fresh, doesn't it??? ...and it kept Bob from spoiling my night!"
Now, I don't recommend this, especially when these days there are porous versions of plastic wrap that have holes manufactured into the sheet to allow steam in a microwave to escape out of the dish, etc....
But I have heard of sheets of Plastic wrap to be used as a "dental dam" in oral sex to allow licking of genitals....
As a kid, I experimented with sandwich baggies during masturbation, and found the slipping over the head of the penis to be too intense, and use as a condom just wasn't strong enough... so I never put much stock in the original story.
Given how cheap a pack of condoms are these days, yes, spring for a fresh pack and put your mind to rest!

The chance is always there. There is sperm in pre-cum. And sperm can last inside a woman's vagina anywhere from 3 to 7 days. And an egg for 1 to 2 days. You can still get pregnant while on your period.
