Plastic Bag as Condom

There's a story in the book "Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex" by Dr. David Ruben, where an enterprising woman was frustrated that her husband Joe had let their supply of condoms dwindle until one evening, they were very aroused, and the cupboard was bare.  Refusing to "let him spoil my night, I ran down into the kitchen and looked around for a substitute.  I came across plastic Wrap and decided to try it.   I wraped his thing in a sheet of it and we went to town...  Like they say, 'It keeps things fresh!'  Well, it certainly saved my night and kept things fresh!"

While this is an amusing tale, it must be pointed out that it was collected from a british woman back in the 1960s or 70s, well before microwave ovens became popular...and microwavable plastic wrap.  These days, your Saran Wrap might be permeated with small slits to let the steam out...and therefore, would NEVER be suitable as any kind of barrier.

The fact that you might not have wanted to engage in sex, but did so anyway concerns me more than the slight risk of pregnancy.  You need to say NO when you mean NO, and stick to your guns.  The fact that you two comprimised and were satisfied by his use of a plastic bag and withdrawl may be admirable in one sense, but as other have pointed out, it's just not safe enough.

USE A CONDOM EVERY TIME.   They are reasonably cheap protection, and are absolutely designed for this purpose.  As for using a ziplock baggie, it doesn't surprise me  that you might have irritated her.  I can't imagine what hard plastic seams and a zipper might feel like against delicate vaginal walls.

If you males want to practice masturbating into or with such a baggie, I think you'll discover very quickly that they are unreliable, don't stay where you put them on, and can easily be made to fail.  There is little more scary feeling that having a failure while you're thrusting toward climax.  You don't want to experience that.  Trust me.

i just found condoms in my dads work bag 3 unopened and 2 opened and used. should i tell my mom yet? what should i do? im so scared i dont want my parents to end up divorced!!!!!
