The last time I got my period was on Nov. 26. I had unprotected sex (used the pullout method) on Dec. 4 and just in case, I took Plan B on the 6th--about a day and a half later. I am not sure if I was ovulating during the time, but I did some research and it told me ovulation normally doesn't occur until the 14th day. I had sex 1-2 days after my period ended.
I am more than a week late on my period. It was supposed to arrive on Dec. 24. I believe I am currently ovulating though. I had some cramping/pain in my lower abdomen and my discharge would be either really creamy/liquidy clumps or thick and clearish, like mucus. But I heard it can also be signs of pregnancy?
Also, I have been so paranoid that sometimes I feel like my stomach is kicking or twitching when I am trying to sleep. But again, I am just extremely paranoid.
I bought a take-home pregnancy test the other day (Clearblue digital pregnancy test, to be exact) and it came out "not pregnant." I am planning on taking another one if my period doesn't arrive on the two-week mark.
I look Plan B twice last year and my period has never been this late before. When I took the emergency contraceptive this time, I tried to not stress myself out thinking it would come less than a week late, but now I am freaking out because I am unfamiliar with what is going on. Could I have been ovulating from when the incident happened to when I took Plan B? If so, is it too late and I may be pregnant? Has someone been through this before, where their period was more than a week late? What was the outcome?
My daily routine has somewhat changed, as I have been going to the gym once a day for the past two weeks now, so I do not know if that takes a toll on anything.
