I started taking 30 mg of Cymbalta on Tuesday for depression and anxiety and I'm on day 3. I took the first pill Tuesday night and Wednesday morning I woke up on my own feeling refreshed but 10 minutes after I got out of bed , I was beyond exhausted again and the feeling never went away. I have been so tired that I can hardly keep my eyes open and I also feel like I am doped up on pain killers...not in a good way. It's more like how you feel after the pain killer has worn off or how Nyquil makes you feel once its worn off. You're with it but just feel weird and "tingly". I'm not acting any different like I'm on drugs but I feel like I am, I keep expecting to get dizzy or something when I stand up but I don't. I just feel weird and I kinda drift off because I'm so tired. Is this normal and when does it stop because I HATE the way it's making me feel.

I'm not a doctor and I can't give you medical advice, but I can tell you that one of the things this drug does is to change your reflex to getting up from lying down. It has to do with your blood pressure not increasing when you get up from bed, and it usually goes away in a week or so. If you stop taking this drug suddenly on your own, you can get rebound anxiety/depression that is even worse than when you started, so never stop "cold turkey." I hope you feel better soon!
