We are burying my 43 year old sister today! She overdosed on prozac and took blood pressure medicine just before thanksgiving and they "saved" her, only to send her home so that on christmas eve morning she overdosed again and when her 24 year old daughter went over to her house about 3 p. m. or so, found her dead on her couch. How can a drug be so potent that it can cause someone who is depressed and feeling so awful to have such power to cause someone to kill themselves and it still be sold? I will NEVER use that drug for "HELP" no matter how bad I ever feel. She left behind 3 children and no one is ever going to be the same. I am so devastated that I can't even begin to describe how it feels to know your sister is gone with the help of a drug to "control" her depression. God help whoever thought this was a drug to HELP people. My mother was on it for years and years and to me it only made things worse for her and her health. Though she and my dad are still alive, I have to wonder how much longer they will live now knowing that their baby daughter killed herself? Any snappy comebacks for that??????????
