Your family needs to do an intervention on her behave and help her. She might have to go to the hospital and get a patient sitter and she might needs to be constantly watched. She might become emotional/aggressive because alcohol is her drug and her addiction. If she becomes aggressive and violent, she might have to be bonded and strapped. Just letting you know, but that is the only way to help her at this point.

Alcohol withdrawal is very dangerous and should be done under strict medical supervision ONLY! When detoxing off alcohol a person can have seizures, very elevated blood pressure, hallucinations and delirium tremors(the DT's) just to name a few. Alcohol withdrawals can and have been fatal! It is very serious! I use to think that someone could just stop drinking, but was I ever wrong...I am an alcoholic and I have had some very bad detoxes as well as hallucinations, Grand Mal seizures and DT's that were so bad I couldn't even speak. In my life I have detoxed from opiates and alcohol, and alcohol withdrawal was so much harder and painful then I could have ever dreamed of! I hope that whoever is struggling with alcohol gets the treatment they need ASAP! I wish them well!
