My mother went in the hospitol for kidney failure, the doctor perscribed heprin, and she had a hemrojik stroke (thinned the lining of the blood vessels in the head and broke), she has had to undergo 2 brain surgeries in a 24 hr period, with in 24-48 hours of her getting the Heprin. I was told that this medication is only used as a last resort when all else has failed, is this true and was this stroke preventable? She has been unresponsive and on a resperator struggling for her life ever since, it has been almost 1 month now since all of this started.

I have a sister in law who was put on heprin and she is fighting to stay alive now...it shut down her organs..and they gave her a 2% chance to live and she is going to rehab tomorrow..

She was on life support for 2 weeks... they didn't expect her to live.
They almost pulled the plug on her.... Thank God they didn't she came out of it and like I said is headed to rehab tomorrow
