I had intercourse ( protected) may 28. My period came on may 18 and I went to the doctor and they I took a pregnancy test and I had sonogram done on June 11 for other reasons but It didn't show that I was pregnant and I took a home pregnancy test today June 20 and It was negative but my period come on June 18 but it's lighter then normal i was wondering did I take the test to early or would it have shown in the pregnancy tests or sonogram. Could I be pregnant?

Hi Stacy,
If you had "protected" sex, why do you think you are pregnant? If you had a period, then it is unlikely you are pregnant although it is possible.
You can test now, it is not early. Wait another 7-10 days and retest to confirm the results. If it still is negative it is unlikely you are pregnant.
Were they looking for this on the ultrasound? It should have been seen.
