I my husband I recently engaged in sex without a condom( should've thought better) but he ejaculated alil early and when he did he had sperm on his area. So we both were concerned so I decided I'd go get the plan B pill. I was not able to get it the next day so I picked it up on the second day and took it right away. My period is not always regular either. But now I'm feeling this sickness in my stomach and I've had headaches and I'm extremely nauseous and tired. I took a previous test today but its not even been two weeks since the incident so idk if it show or not. Idk what else it would be besides a UTi which I checked with strips and it said it was negative!! Plz and gd answers and feedback would be great! Thank you!

Hi Guest,
Common side effects of Plan B include nausea, vomiting, headaches, dizziness, an early or late period, or your period being heavier or lighter than normal - there are more too.
It's unlikely you are pregnant since you took it within 72 hours.
You need to wait AT LEAST two weeks, preferably three, before testing become accurate.
Good luck, hope it helps.

Hi Kat,
You can test as soon as 2 weeks after having sex. Did you use your wakeup pee? It's important, especially when testing early. Still, the tests don't always work reliably. False negatives are common.
But, you don't have to be pregnant. Your period can sometimes just be late, for a variety of reasons. Give it a few more days then retest.
Good luck.
