My mother has rheumatoid arthritis. This condition occurred three years ago when she entered menopause, her joints started to swell, we thought it was because of her extra weight, but since the pain and redness occurred, doctor diagnose her with arthritis. Last time she went there, she was prescribed with dolobid. Is it any good for inflammation and swelling?

You have to know that dolobid belongs to a group of meds that is used to deal with several various forms of arthritis (even those caused by a trauma). Basic functions of this medication are antinflammatory and analgesic effects, so it should be helpful for her troubles. Still, she should be careful and take the exact doses, just to avoid side effects.
