My periods have always been irregular for the 10-15 years I've had them. There's really no guessing on when it'll come until the week before when I eat everything and sleep whenever I can. Sometimes, but not usually, I'll get it the same time for two months in a row, but there's usually a month or two in between. Recently (the last 6 or so months,) my period has been more irregular and when I got it, the cramps were worse. In November, I went to the gyno to get birth control to regulate my period, which I was denied because of my high blood pressure. Before my gyno appointment, I got my period in September and November, but not since (it's been about three months). I told the gyno that I was regularly irregular and she didn't bat an eye, so I assumed it was fairly normal. Usually, I get nervous when my period doesn't come because I know it will come eventually. However, I had sex with my boyfriend 3-4 weeks ago, my first time. He pulled out and masturbated until he came, so he didn't come inside me. Afterwards, I bled for a little and I had minor cramps. Being the paranoid person that I am, I automatically assumed that I was pregnant, but I did research and many other girls had the same thing happen to them. I haven’t bled at all except for when we had sex again. I don’t have pregnancy symptoms and feel normal other than my regular aches and pains (RLS, high blood pressure, etc). I'm nervous to tell anyone about my worrying because nobody knows that we've had sex except the two of us. Do you think I’m being paranoid since my periods are irregular or could I be pregnant?

Take a home pregnancy test if the results are negative, take another one 7 days later to make sure. Relax hun. You are probably a little anxious because it was your first time. We all feel that way. In future though, please get your partner to wear condoms! It would be horrible for you to feel this way all the time. Good Luck :)
