I've been on birth control (for medical reasons) for over a month. I had that same thing happen a couple weeks ago, but I'm a virgin. I told my mom, but she didn't seem concerned, so I don't think it can be too bad. But, like you, I would still like more information. It lasted a couple days for me, then I was fine, so I don't think it was anything too bad.
