I respect what your mother said and that it is in a Medical Journal. All I know is that it worked for me and I had the help of a naturopathic doctor. It is actually more dangerous to go from 75 mg. to 35 mg. and doing every other day....much harder on the body. The side effects such as brain zaps and other side effects alway happen when it's done that way. I didn't have any side effects at all, which I was very thankful for.I haven't had to go back on it. The naturopathic dr. gave me some natural remedies for anxiety and depression, which I now only use if I am having a bad day. I had tried the other ways and I always had to get back on it because of all the side effects I had. Hope you find a way that works for you.

I got them from a naturopathic dr. and they aren't expensive. One is for anxiety and one is for depression. They are liquid and go under your tongue. They really help. Do you know of a homeopathic dr. or naturopathic dr. in your area? That would be a big help. Mine does phone consultations and can send you some if you can't find anyone in your area. Hope this helps.

I'm also on a good vitamin program that really helps too. I also take 5HTP at night and it helps depression and helps you to sleep too. You can get this at any store.

I get the vitamins from the naturopathic dr. and they help. It takes a while for them to get into your system. The 5 HTP(which I also get from that same dr.) works with the anxiety remedy and depression remedy. What type of vitamins are you taking and how long have you been taking them.

Hi

I know exactly what you mean. I am having terrible withdrawal symptoms from Effexor er 150 mg vommiting to diareah to brain zaps blurred vision and dizziness. I want to know when will this go away and I can stop being brain zapped anymore. I could hear my head and eyes move yes I can hear this noise in my ears. When I move my head I have like electrical shock or zaps going through my ears. I can't take it any more I am about to scream. I have bad headaches and can not sleep. My body hurts and I am weak.

If we are to get a C.A.S., we need to be able to contact people. I was able to get off of it by removing 1 more bead each day. Also had the help of a homeopathic dr. giving me natural things for depression/anxiety. I know exactly what you are saying....it is side effects that are worse than anything. Let us know how we can get involved with your lawyer. Michael Fearon has been trying to get a lawyer to take this case, but has had not luck.

I have been taking Effexor 150 mg for 3 years now and have not been able to stop taking it. If I miss a dose I get savior headaches’, dizziness, nauseated, and major lack of concentration. I can’t spell or make a complete sentence to anyone its frustrating. I am also very irritable. I tend to yell at my kids more at anything they do or drive a little reckless. I have also noticed that when I do feel this way my pupils are very small. There has to be a way to get off this medication.

There is a way to get off the med. I removed 1 more bead each day and had the help of a naturopathic dr....using remedies (costing only $15.00 each) for help with anxiety/depression. If you would like to join the lawsuit, let me know and if you have any more questions about how to get off of Effexor...there is a way with no side effects...just as I did it.

Did anything every come of this? I lost my entire family, husband, home, job, my life because of the same thing. I would like to join in a class action lawsuit as well. Where to begin
