Im 20 years old and a college student. I work out, eat healthy. I have had a girlfriend for 2 months and have been erection problems with her over the past few weeks. But I have already had sex with her a few times so I know its not being scared. But it seems to not be as hard as it should. Now it is alot easier getting it up when we have been drinking...but i seem to lose my erection rather quickly, especially when putting on the condom. Now I know that I am nervous and that could be a problem too, but I also smoke weed and i dont know if that could be a contributing factor.
Please help! o.O
thanks

Weed can be a problem but more so with mood swings than erection problems, I had the same problem at one point and I found a condom for extra sensitivity helped, they make them, yes they are thinner but it helped because you can feel more than with the regular ones and you dont get as hot which keeps you hard or harder

This is a problem for more men then you think, it can be for many reasons. It's a difficult area to discuss, but go to a doctor. Not only do they muck up your sex life, it can be a sign of health problems. Erection problems can be a sign of blocked blood vessels or nerve damage from diabetes. If you don't go to a doctor, these problems will go untreated and just harm you more.
Many different conditions can lead to ED. Many of the causes are health problems that affect the heart and blood vessels and need to be treated to help prevent more serious problems. High blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes.
Unhealthy lifestyle habits can also contribute to ED. Anything that’s bad for your heart is also bad for your sexual health. Alcohol and drug abuse, Smoking, Overeating, Lack of exercise.
Nerve damage from many causes can interfere with the signals that start an erection. Spinal cord injury, Treatments for prostate cancer, including radiation and prostate removal, Multiple sclerosis and other nerve diseases.
Some prescription drugs such as some antidepressants or high blood pressure medicines can cause ED. Your doctor may be able to change your drug treatment. Never stop taking a prescribed drug without talking with your doctor.
A small number of ED cases result from a reduced level of the male hormone testosterone.
Doctors used to believe that most cases of ED resulted from mental or emotional problems. ED has a physical cause. But depression and worry or anxiety can still cause ED. And ED from physical causes can lead to depression and worry, making ED worse.

Smoking ANYthing is bad for the cardiovascular system...at 20 yrs old, it shouldnt have affected you that much though...then again smoking pot can change libido and arousal...I know it did for me, made me turned on AND hungry, but it took forever to cum when I was high...by the way, same w/ drinking more than 1 or 2 had the same effects

im in a simular situation aswell, im 22, fairly healthy, i do smoke weed but im cutting it out, like a joint every few days now :-) i cant seem to get it up, usually im always game for sex but over the last week or so ive not been wanting it. My penis has got smaller when floppy, both shorter and thinner & my balls are riding up as if theyre cold :-/ if i can get hard it only lasts for a few minutes then it goes down really quickly. Im not sure whats going on, went to my gp and he says it happens sometimes, give it a few days & it'll be fine but i dont know, just dont feel like myself atm but not sure if its me thinking about the problem all the time or if the feeling is why it wont work?
