Hi: I'm a newbie and so happy to have found this site. I walk 25-30 miles a week and although it does wonders for my mind and body it didn't help that area of my body. For the last week the pain has been 8-9 on the pain scale. Doc looked at me yesterday and said OMG! I knew I was in trouble then. The problem is there are many of them (6 or 7) and my concern in will I be able to get back to power walking after the normal healing time. I'm going into this with a good attitude because I don't want to live in the constant pain I'm in now and I've had to quit walking anyway, but it would give me great hope and encouragement to know that I could get back to that level again.
