In all probability it will not. First time to gynaecologist's might be scary, but it will be more talking than anything else, unless you have serious health problems. If not, then they'll probably take your blood pressure and temperature, and maybe do a breast exam, a skin check, and an abdominal exam. If you have a period calendar, it might be a good idea to grab it along. Gynaecologists are the best sources of information on any questions you have about your intimate health, so feel free to ask your doctor about anything that is bothering you (don't worry, anything you speak about will remain between your doctor and you).
