I am 26 years old and had a tubal 19 months ago. Since then my periods are heavier at the begining for only 2 days and then extremly light the remaining of my period. I have terrible head aches some times starting 2 weeks before my period and during my period. I have hot flashes and night sweats before and during my period. I will wake up with my shirt completly wet. My sex life has almost come to a hault I have no intrest what so ever. When I do have sex it can hurt. My moods swings are bad, I feel like I am forgeting stuff more. I tell my husband I am loosing it. I can get very irratable, I cry more, and feel tired alot before and during my period. This is taking over my life and I have no idea what is wrong with me. Please advise me if this could be PTLS and if so what is the treatment for it. Also in a recent CT scan it showed right adnexal cysts. I have not gone for my ultra sound yet but I wanted to know could this have anything to do with my tubal. Thank you ahead of time.. Your help is greatly appricaited!!!

I suppose that your doctors will realize if the symptoms you described are related to the adnexal cysts or tubal ligation. My best friend experienced hormonal problems after tubal ligation and your symptoms do resemble menopausal symptoms ir estrogen deficiency.
This is likely to occur after tubal ligation. I was very angry at my friend because she didn’t go through all the possible facts about TL before undergoing the procedure. The most common thing that may happen is that ovaries loose their blood supply after TL and stop functioning meaning very low levels of estrogen which resembles menopause. The hot flashes, cold sweats, moodiness, low libido and all the other symptoms you mentioned are typical low-estrogen levels symptoms ie menopausal symptoms.
In some literature, this disorder is called ovarian isolation when the ovaries stop receiving blood.
I would suggest you asked for blood test and had your hormonal levels checked.
