So, I'm 17 and up until now I haven't had any problems with my penis. But I was fooling around with my girlfriend today and when I got home saw I was bleeding a little. Apparently, there was still a tiny bit of fused skin on my head and it tore and I don't know what to do. It doesn't hurt per say, it just is sensitive and red. Do I ice it? Do I call someone? I don't know. Please help.

This is not terribly uncommon.

Baby boys are born with the inner layer of the foreskin fused with the surface of the underlying glans penis. This is natural, normal, and protects against infection. Over some years the fusion spontaneously disintegrates and releases the inner foreskin. This usually happens prior to puberty, but not always.

Put some Vaseline under your foreskin and keep the area under your foreskin coated with Vaseline for about two weeks while it heals. The Vaseline will prevent re-adhesion and soothe the raw area.

Check your penis to see if that was the only area of fusion. If you find additional areas of fusion, you can try peeling the foreskin away from the glans penis to see if you can break the remaining fusion. Do it carefully and little by little. It may take you several tries to get it all.
