getting pregnant after stopping depo provera

I was on depo for 3 years my last shot was in December 2013 my period started back in March of 2014 and I also had a period this month I was wondering what my chances are of getting pregnant

I also, have been taking the shot now for 12 years. I decided this last time that my shot was due to not take it anymore. I am 31 and want kids. I am very scared that I will not be able to. I completely understand where you are coming from. It does suck that you try to be responsible and wait to have children when your ready and then find out that the whole process can be complicated or even worse...impossible. Hello, I saw your comment on steady health. I've been on the shot for 3 years now.. I got off the shots in March or April 2014, I just recently got back on in September.. No idea why I did that. But this is my last month of being on the shot, I was suppose to go back on the 8th or 9th of this month, december 2014. But I did not go back. My boyfriend and I wants a kid really bad.. And I've been reading articals and comments. Some say that they been trying for 8 years after the shot and still no baby.. My last period was a week ago, it was VERY LIGHT. it was just dark brown and it lasted more than a week. I am scared that I won't be able to have kids.. Even before I got on the depo my period was already irregular which even makes it harder for me to know when Im gonna obvulate. Can you help me please, is there any vitamins I can take or any pills I should take to get my period regularly? Thanks in advance.

I been off depo for 2 months now. I was on it for a year I was post to go back and get my shot in December 2014, but I didn't go because Im ready to get pregnant. I had about 3 period and they last for about 6 days. My last period was Feb 2015. But anyways me and.my boyfriend have sex almost every night. And my stomach is hard my lower back be hurting I be haven bad cramps. I just wanna know could I be pregnant? ???

I was on depo for less than two years and it has taken two and a half years to get my period back. Blood work done a year ago showing extremely high testosterone, ovaries were "full looking" but other than that no cysts, no issues, according to the doctors everything looked great on the inside. I was told it could be pcos, given provera and sent to a fertility specialist and they put me through the popular methods including provera, clomid etc for a few months.... I didn't want to do this any longer, I felt like a chemistry kit and that I was wasting my time and money and possibly doing damage to my already messed up body. I did some natural herbal research. I take 200g of DIM, 500mg of chaste berry and 2 cups of speriment tea every day. Fifteen days in I had my first period in 2.5 years, I cried with shear happiness in the bathroom for a good while before I told my fiance. I've now had a light period for 5 gloriously torturous days; cramps from hell, fatigue, indigestion, loss of appetite, cravings, extreme mood swings and insomnia to name a few. I can't complain much since I've been so scared of being infertile and possibly never having a baby as well as figuring I'm making up for over 2 years of no monthly. It's probably not going to be pretty, but hopefully my body is finally resetting. Anyway I'm now able to try and start tracking my cycles. I wanted to let anyone out there ttc after depo with complications, there is hope. I do suggest getting your blood work done and getting copies so you can do your own research and analyze what you can do naturally before you put more chemicals in your body. Did you ever end up pregnant? If so how long did it take?

My last depo injection was a month ago. I was on it for just under a year. Can you get pregnant as soon as you stop getting it? Should I be using other contraception now?

I stopped depo shot 30 days ago because I decided I wanted one more child. I got my menstrual today. Does this mean I can ovulate this month and possibly get pregnant?
