i have the implanon in for a 1 1/2 yrs and had breakaway periods then in december 2012 was my last period until now 4/10/2013 yesturday i got spotting like browish red not like a period went to a ob had a urine test done and it negative but no blood test done need info asap sorry i know tmi

from what i have heard spotting like that is something called implanation period where the egg is planting itself ready to grow.. i would wait another week or so to test. You cant find out if your pregnant till 3 weeks after when you've had sex, but im not a doctor. im having the simular experience now, my last period was 02/03/13 - 06/03/13 and i was due 30/03/13 but never came on till 9 days later and ive come off after 3 days, best advice call your GP and get an appoinment thats what ive done.
