If you had sex on 1 Jan and you have not had any sexual activity since then, the negative result of a pregnancy test should be reliable if taken properly. However, I cannot predict when your period will come. The impact of taking the i-pill varies from woman to woman. You may even miss a period. The i-pill is not a simple pregnancy-preventer - it can alter your cycle, and the next few periods may start at an unpredictable time.

If you have started bleeding 7 days after taking the i-pill, it has probably worked if it was taken in time.

Because she took the i-pill her cycle is almost certain to be affected. You stated that you had sex on 20 Jan, but didn't say when she took the i-pill, nor the date her period was due (and how you calculated that date). However, it does seem likely that 20 Jan could have been a fertile day. Nevertheless, if the i-pill had been taken in time, it should have been effective. Because of the time elapsed, a test taken now should be reliable, and I think the result should be negative.

If the i-pill has been taken within 4 hours, it should be effective. The i-pill is recommended for over 23 year-olds because of the side effects.

A Home Pregnancy Test would be reliable.

Not necessarily, but I suggest she takes a test. The result should be reliable.

You have still not given actual dates, but if you have not had sex for 2 months and the test result is negative, then it is almost 100% certain you are not pregnant.
