I lost my virginity a week and a half ago, the day before my period was supposed to come. My period came as it was supposed to and stopped like it was supposed to (lated 4-5 days, which is normal for me), but like a day or two later I started to feel weird- a burning in my lower stomach as if I were about to go on my period, nothing painful or anything, just noticable that its happening, constipation, and gas. Now, I had protected sex- the guy USED a condom. Condoms dont always work I know, but it didnt break or anything, and we both felt it was safe to say I wasn't pregnant. The day I lost my virginity, I bled alittle afterward, which I'm told is very normal, so I knew to expect that before I did it. It lasted for less than an hour. My friend told me I was just feeling things because I started to worry about my decision of having sex ( I'm 20, btw). I have a history of over thinking about things till it worries me to death. I just want to know if what I'm feeling is normal, am I being paranoid or should I be worried?

I think if I am paranoid I need to take a few steps back from sex and think abot birth control, like I originally planned to.

You should be fine! Not only did you use protection, but you had sex at a very infertile time of the cycle. You had a period and shed the egg. There is virtually no risk.

Stress does affect the womans cycle very much, anxiety can cause nausea, fatigue, and trick the woman into symptoms of early pregnancy, it can even delay a period arriving.

You should consider going on the oral contraceptive pill! For natural worriers like yourself, it offers fantastic peace of mind.

Thank you very much for replyng. I just needed someone else other than my friends to assure me that I was okay to have that peace of mind. I do want to start the pil, especially if I'm thinking about starting to have sex from now on. This isn't the first time stress has affected me this way, so I need that fantastic peace of mind, haha. I'm alittle afraid of going to the doctor to ask about the pill by myself, so hopefully I can lure one of my friends to go with me.

Thanks for your help! :D

Before he put the condom on, he did go inside of me, so there most likely was precum inside me. Then the next day I had my period as I was supposed to, before it stopped on time and I began to feel odd. Now I still have constipation, sometimes a gruggling stomach, like I might have the runs, but don't...I almost feel that everyday. Should I be worried still? Or is it possible that this may just be something else? My friend told me I was okay, because I had my period on time and all, but I just want to hear someone elses opinion. I still have another 2 in the half weeks before my next period in the beginning of March.
