Ok me and my girlfriend had sex 5 days ago and she said it was alright to cum inside her cuz shes been on birth control for like 4 months. so i did but 5 days later shes textin me and she has the stomach flu according to her mom thats a nurse. she has been puking alot through early morning but she still takes her pill on time at 9:00 every night. i know its like 99.9 percent effective but only like 92 percent effective in reality, but does the flu change the chances of her getting prego? also we had sex 2 days after her period ended so ive heard its hard to get pregnant then cuz she has developed somethin i forget what its called. just please let me know soon.

Hi Sky,
The flu won't affect the pill and it really is 99% effective taken on a regular basis.
She is also more likely to get pregnant just after her period than just before.
Still, she is protected and should not get pregnant.

The pill is not 100% effective and can vary in reliability greatly depending on the individual. I would always use a condom from now on and the fact that you think the flu affects her birth control tells me you dont really know what youre doing. Do both of yourselves a favor and use a condom

If you're going to look at it that way guest, the condom isn't 100% effective either.
The only 100% effective way to prevent pregnancy is to not have any sexual contact.
