Losing virginity has nothing to do with periods and will not influence your health if you always use condoms to protect yourself.
If you catch an infection different things may occur. Depending on the infection you/or anybody else catches, if it is bacteria, viral or other, treatments may very, may be easy or difficult and most viral diseases like HPV, HIV and HERPES can’t be cured.
Before you continue to have sex, it would be wised if you learned more about possible STD’s and the ways to protect yourself. The most important thing is not to engage in risky sexual behaviours, meaning no sex with many partners without protection.
Sometimes condoms don’t do the trick because some STD’s are skin to skin transmittable, like herpes, hpv and Molluscum contagiosum. So, if you notice any strange bumps or lesions on your partner’s genitals, you should wait until they are gone and then engage in sexual acts.
Some penile bumps that may appear on the shaft and testicles are totally benign and not transmittable. They look like pimples but can’t be squeezed. They are called sebaceous prominence or sebaceous cysts and they are a normal skin variant.
Other bumps usually look like crusts or sores or something.
About the periods….losing virginity has nothing to do with periods because it won’t do anything to disturb your hormones that regulate periods. However, your period may be late if you get too anxious about it. Stress can influence your periods.
Now, I hope this wasn’t too much info for just one post. Learn and enjoy!
