Had surgery with colonoscopy type anesthesia. Took only Advil, stool softener and Valium post op. No problems, day 5 still no bm, never felt urge to go. Day 6 decided to take miralax 1 dose proceed to get extremely nauseous went to ER did exam and told me to take Metamucil which I did and a few hrs later it was like a colon cleanout.now only small stools about 2" long -normal?
