I saw a fascinating documentary about gladiators in the Roman empire yesterday night. One of the most interesting parts of the documentary showed how they treated the wounds of the gladiators with herbs, after fights were finished. What herbs did they use, if anyone knows about that? Are herbs still used for healing wounds?
