Should I see OBGYN if I 21 and still a virgin?

I'm 40 years old & had only gone 3 times twice to 2 different family doctors & onece to an obgyn to get checked. the problem is now I'm 40 & don't have any doctor that knows my history & I'm having problems. So It's very hard to ask for help from a stranger & there is no medical history on me.
So for the future, I would find an obgyn that you're comfortable with. With my problem this year I've seen 3 obgyn & have had 15 obgyn visits. I have found an obgyn that I realy like, & I have a pelvic pain specialist who's an obgyn & I really like him too.
I would like to encourage you to go.

YES! you are recommended to go after the age of 18 at least once a year. It doesnt matter if you're a virgin or not. You can get tested for cervical cancer and other types of problems. You can also get new vaccines.
Think of it this way
You've really got nothing to lose.
Like Jelly Belly said, this way you can start a relationship with a good gyno and have someone you're comfortable with know what's going on with you down there. It may really really come in handy in the future, right?

Yes, i was in the same position as you are, when i got with my now boyfriend and we were thinking about being together sexually i decided no matter how umcomfortable i was with a dr being down there i would be even more weirded out if something else was actually wrong and i had to go.
I would schedule an apt to be checked out, its a good thing ot make sure your healthy and like others have said its a good start to a good medical history should you ever have issues in the future.

i was sooo nervous to go to a gyno for the first time. my hands were sweating and my legs were shaking. i didnt want anyone down there looking like that, and was afraid she'd tell me something like i wasnt normal. but its NOT nearly as bad as i thought it would be. it didnt hurt, wasnt really even awkward. im very happy i went through with it and dealt with my insecurities, and i think you should too! virgin or not.
