37 YO overweight male... I'm not certain this belongs here but I have a problem involving my pelvis and butt... while I know that the buttocks are not supposed to be clenched tightly, too often I find the opposite happening and my tighty-whiteys shift uncomfortably; and I have been lucky enough to always have a chance to readjust somewhere private so far. Any suggestions?

I guess you just try various combinations of size, style, and fabric until you find what is most comfortable. Maybe try boxer briefs vs. briefs, or something with a little bit of spandex vs. 100% cotton, etc. Google has some suggestions but you may need to try several things before you find what works best

Hi WonderWarrior ... It really sounds like you may be experiencing discomfort or irritation in your pelvic region and buttocks due to your clothing shifting and becoming uncomfortable.

Try to choose different underwear: Consider trying out different types of underwear, such as briefs or boxers, to see if one type is more comfortable than the other. You may also want to try out different brands to see if there are any that fit better and are less likely to shift around.

Consider a different material: Some materials, such as cotton, may be more breathable and comfortable than others. Try out different materials to see if there is one that is more comfortable for you.

Take breaks: If you find yourself sitting for extended periods of time, try to take frequent breaks and stand up and move around. This can help alleviate discomfort in your pelvic region and buttocks.

Don't hesitate to make changes that will help you feel more comfortable and at ease.

And of course if you still feel discomfort don't hesitate to ask your doctor for some help to check if there are any other undelaying conditions that cause this problem.

OK, once again
“thanks, but I was looking for either suggestions about better posture or what kind of specialist to see. my underpants are not the cause of the problem”
to clarify further, my inconsistent pelvic posture is the root cause here.
thanks for your reply though
